STUDENT ASSISTANT FOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

If you think designing furniture, looking for trends and working with sales to major international furniture stores sounds exciting, then maybe this job as our student assistant is something for you.

GP-Furniture is a B2B company that sells furniture for larger furniture stores on four continents. You will be part of the Danish team that is responsible for design and product development, sales and direct customer contact. The pace is often high, so we expect you to be efficient and dare to take on necessary tasks. In return, we can offer a fun and informal work environment.

Your tasks will be one or more of the following:

❯ Sales: Obtain prices and prepare offers for the various furniture houses.

​

❯ Design: You will be involved in every part of the process; from developing ideas of concept to the actual design incl. selection of fabric materials, comparisons with pre-production sample and approval of the final product.

❯ Marketing: You will be responsible for ensuring that our Chinese team delivers photos and rendered 3D images of all our products on time and that the quality lives up to our standard.

❯ Quality assurance: You will be responsible for ensuring that our products live up to our standard.
You will manage the process of complaints, questions and be the primary person communicating with customers as well as our Chinese quality team.

❯ Events: Preparation of the product fair and help developing product fair stands. Our 2-storey showroom at the head office should also be designed and adapted to our various customer visits.

You must be able to work 10-15 hours per. week.
Your education and how far you are plays a minor role. Together, we will find the work tasks that utilize your core competencies, and you get the opportunity to upgrade your CV with relevant experience.
