Student assistant for 3D design: Careers

If you are interested in 3D design, and have the flair for making realistic models of tables, chairs and sofas, then maybe you are the one we have been looking for.

GP-Furniture is a furniture company that designs, develops and delivers furniture for larger furniture stores around the world. We are looking for an ambitious student assistant who works with 3D design, and who wants to become part of the Danish office in Charlottenlund. We are a small, dynamic team with an open mindset and room for ideas. We often have short deadlines, so we expect you to take on the necessary tasks. In return, we can offer a fun and informal work environment.

Work and responsibilities

From the start, you will work independently, have co-responsibility and be responsible for our 3D projects. You will be given a series of assignments that will challenge and develop your professional profile. Below is a selection of tasks you will be working with:

❯ Make photorealistic renderings of furniture in various rendered as well as photographic environments.
❯ Corporate closely with our Chinese 3D team, and help streamline and make the processes between the Danish and Chinese departments more effective.

Your qualifications

❯ You are a student in a higher education - a specific programme is not a requirement, as long as you have skills / interest in 3D models.
❯ You can work efficiently in 3ds Max or similar and you may have a good knowledge of Solid Works or any similar program.
❯ You can work efficiently in V-Ray or similar rendering program.
❯ You have an artistic eye for detail and are able to bring out structures in the models, so that materials, such as furniture fabric, are similar to the physical fabric samples we have in the office.
❯ You work independently and can have several balls in the air at the same time.
